About

Yael Aliza smiling beside her painting I’ll drive on an easel at an exhibition

Hey, I’m Yael, an artist, graphic facilitator and medical student based in London. Before medical school I completed a biomedical sciences degree, which gave me a scientific foundation that now shapes my art.

My paintings explore medical themes including anatomy, grief and healthcare systems. As a graphic facilitator, I work with researchers, charities and the people whose experiences sit at the heart of their work. I listen closely, draw live, and co-create visuals with patients, families and public contributors.

As an artist and future doctor, I aim to advocate for change in healthcare by creating work that brings hidden challenges and overlooked experiences into the light for meaningful dialogue.
